Faced with the retirement of its long-standing President, Potomac Recruiting was hired by this international construction company to assist them with finding a qualified replacement.  The company was looking for someone who had a deep technical engineering background and knowledge, experience with business development, and proven success as a leader in the federal construction space.

Customer Challenges:
Potomac Recruiting worked with the company’s Board of Directors to understand the corporate culture and the intangible skills that would make a candidate successful.  This was a very important part of this search, and was extremely important to the Board of Directors, as they wanted to ensure that the unique company culture was maintained. Moreover, the candidate search, as well as all interviews, needed to be conducted rapidly, as the company’s President had just retired.
